Thank you for your interest in the United Nations, American Sovereignty, and the case of Army Spc. Michael New. Your name will be added to the Battalion under your appropriate Military Branch in a few days. You can always get our latest update by sending a blank email message to update@mikenew.com.

Below is an open letter to all Battalion Members from Daniel New.

Dear Veteran Supporter,

The support of the veteran community, both on our Red, White and Blue Battalion page and even more by word-of-mouth, has been a mainstay in the development of public support of Army Spc4 Michael New, around the nation.  Veterans understand these issues instinctively, and it appears to us that the large majority of vets of all ages are with us.  (And those who disagree are, for the most part, patriotic in their zeal to see orders enforced -- we just haven't yet shown them the real nature of the conflict.  Don't give up on them.)

It all centers around The Oath.  Whether the Oath of Enlistment, or the Oath sworn by the President of the United States, our oath is to the Constitution -- NOT to a political agenda, NOT to the CinC, and certainly not to the Secretary General of the United Nations!

The USofA is/was a Republic, based upon Constitutional Law.  The entire question here is whether that Republic can survive this blatant attempt to subvert the oath to the political agenda of the day.  Important to the question is the matter of the Presidential Decision Directive #25 (PDD 25) issued by President Clinton in 1994.  (You can find the public version here:  http://www.mikenew.com/pdd25.html  This is the document which provides the alleged legal basis for the orders for all servicemen to deploy under the United Nations without Congressional approval. We believe this document to be illegal and treasonous.  What is in the classified version?  To this day, not even your Congressman is allowed to know!  Is this what they meant by "re-inventing government"?  This is not a new invention.  Every dictator in history has used the technique.)

If you haven't recently looked at our Red, White and Blue Battalion web page, just to see who has joined since you did, you might enjoy a quick glance.  http://www.mikenew.com/battalion.html

While you're there, please look for the names of your best friends who are veterans.  If they're not there, would you please take the time to drop them a short note and encourage them to re-up?  (If they don't have a computer, offer to put their name on this roster for them, but only with their permission.)  If each of you can add two names, you'll triple our membership!  And in the process, you'll be providing more veterans with information about the never-ending struggle for American sovereignty.

The Battalion is getting large enough that the Army page is soon going to have to be divided into two pages -- one for officers and one for enlisted men.  (Perhaps both sides will welcome that!)

It is true that "All gave some, some gave all."  I suggest that those who did not give "all," those whose names are not on a headstone or a memorial wall, have not yet given it their "all."  And to do less than to continue the fight for our Freedom, and the Freedom of our grandchildren, is to dishonor those who did give "all."  And it is to abandon The Oath.

Blessings on you and yours,

Daniel New

PS.  When we asked the Vietnam Veterans of America to rent or exchange mailing lists with us, in order to take our issue to their membership, we were refused, on the grounds that, "The membership of VVA do not agree with the actions of Spc. Michael New."  We think the leadership of VVA is confused and out of touch with the opinions of the membership.  If you are a member of VVA, perhaps you could let them know that you, as a member, do agree with the stand taken by Spc. Michael New, and that they ought to run a poll of the membership so they can find out how out-of-touch they have become.  (You might also suggest that if they deliberately word the poll in such a way as to predetermine the response, it will be noted and will become the next topic of discussion!)

It would be appropriate, of course, if they are to accompany the poll with an article, so the facts of the case may be available to those hearing about it for the first time.  An objective article would be a good thing.  Whether they are capable of that is not yet clear to us.  We'll learn by standing by and observing.
